James Rana’s diverse career as an actor, writer, narrator and variety artist has captivated audiences throughout North America and Europe. His stage appearances include: the Classical Theatre of Harlem, Royal Shakespeare Company, Ensemble Studio Theatre, Pan Asian Rep, The Shakespeare Theatre, The Big Apple Circus’ “Circus To Go,” Shakespeare & Company, Actors Shakespeare Company, the Mermaid Parade, Seaport Theatre Festival, Mystic Theatre, the Bonn Biennale and Globe Neuss Shakespeare Festival (Germany). His film and television credits include: The War Within, The Assassin, At The Midnight Hour, Inside The Box, “Law & Order:SVU,” “Third Watch,” “Late Night with Conan O’Brien,” “Good Day New York,” and “Radical Islam.” His play HARRIET BENCHLEY was produced by San Francisco’s Shoestring Radio Theatre and broadcast throughout North America. He’s starred in numerous industrial films and has hosted over five hundred hours of radio programming.
